DONE IN A DAY
The Done In A Day Committee coordinates, plans, and manages diverse community services projects and activities in collaboration with community agencies through day-long activities. DIAD’s objective is to provide hundreds of volunteer hours and significant planning and financial resources to create relevant, meaningful events for community partners working in JLS’s impact areas of Education: Career Skills and Work-Readiness for Women and Basic Needs: Food Security. DIAD has traditionally partnered with organizations such as Childhaven, Eastside Baby Corner, Mary’s Place, Northwest Harvest, YWCA, Treehouse, and Westside Baby.
DIAD volunteer opportunities are offered throughout the year to JLS members.
The JLS looks forward to working with its partners to empower Seattle area communities.
