Welcome to the Junior League of Seattle!
The Junior League of Seattle is a network of leaders who empower each other to create lasting community change. Our more than 1,200 Members are artists, physicians, parents, lawyers, teachers, philanthropists and activists committed to the mission of the Junior League: to promote voluntarism, to develop women and to improve communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
For the past 98 years, the Junior League of Seattle has had a lasting and positive impact on our community. We are on the forefront of key initiatives and advocacy efforts to improve the well-being of women, children, and families in King County. Our League projects have been pivotal to the founding of several incredible non-profit organizations in Seattle, including the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library, Childhaven, and ReBuilding Together. Our Members dedicate tens of thousands of volunteer hours each year, in addition to being pillars of strength and charity in their homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and broader communities.
I’m excited for the Junior League of Seattle’s Members to safely re-engage in-person, after a successful year of virtual leadership development and service. I hope you will join me in supporting this network of inspirational leaders. Whether you choose to support our organization by attending an event, with a donation or by joining as a Member, you ensure the Junior League of Seattle’s vision for women as catalysts for lasting community change endures.
