2017 General Election Guide

The Junior League of Seattle is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. To encourage effective action of our members, the Advocacy Committee has created a brief guide to offer resources in the 2017 general election to highlight some of the ballot issues that affect our JLS focus areas: Education and Basic Needs.

Please note that this Guide is advisory only and the Junior League of Seattle does not take a position in support of or against any of the candidates or ballot measures. Further, this Guide does not encompass all available information. Members should seek additional information available to make informed voting decisions. A list of some, but not all, informational resources is located at the end of this guide.
