All the Glitters Premier Event - Thank You for Making it a Success

The Junior League of Seattle held its 13th annual fundraising gala on Saturday, February 12th. Though it was a dark and stormy Seattle night, 450 JLS members, spouses, friends and supporters sparkled in the beautiful Four Seasons ballroom and enjoyed a wonderful evening of glitz and glamour! JLS is very pleased to announce that we raised over $160,000 through the silent and live auctions and "raise the paddle" contributions, which will continue to support the community we serve and project relating to the education and empowerment of women and children. Thank you to all - we truly value your dedication, support and extremely generous donations!

The Premier Event Committee, led by chair Betsy Weadock, decorated the ballroom with stunning floral arrangements, donated by local florists, shimmering lights and gems that lit up the tables and created an elegant and glowing atmosphere. Guests dazzled in sequins, rich jewel-toned gowns and stylish cocktail attire to add to the "All That Glitters" theme!

JLS welcomed Jenni Hogan of KIRO-TV as the event's announcer and auctioneers Kip Toner and Josh Halpin, husband of JLS member Sara Halpin, to lead the live auction of impressive, one-of-a-kind pieces and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. All three added great enthusiasm and charm to the evening and kept the room alive and full of excitement. Bidding was competitive, as guest were more than willing to support the cause and lucky bidders won the floral centerpieces, decadent desserts, a custom Louis Vuitton luggage set, premier sporting event tickets, a gorgeous Salvatore Ferragamo handbag and lavish vacation packages that spanned the globe.

To continue the festivities, guest celebrated at the glamorous after party held at Thoa's Lounge and danced the night away to music by DJ Danny.

It was a fabulous evening and JLS would like to thank all of the amazing supporters, sponsors, organizers and donors who made this important fundraiser such a success. The proceeds exceeded our goals and every dollar raised will go back to the community. Your generous contributions will allow JLS to continue to partner with local organizations, develop projects and focus on meeting the needs of our community. Thank you again for all your support.
