Overview

This committee works on directing advocacy efforts of the JLS, and ensures that members are mobilized and trained to approach their legislators and advocate for issues of importance in the League's focus areas. The committee is responsible for coordinating Olympia Days for the JLS. Olympia Days is an annual spring event where League members from around the state gather in the capitol for training and to meet with legislators.

JLWS

The JLS, along with leagues in Tacoma, Spokane, Yakima, and Olympia, is a member of the Junior Leagues of Washington State (JLWS) . This group meets quarterly to discuss training opportunities for member Leagues and statewide advocacy efforts.
